Keith Gates: Music

Aaron Witek is originally from West Seneca, NY and currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida, where he is pursuing a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance at Florida State University as a graduate assistant of Dr. Christopher Moore. Prior to coming to FSU, Aaron earned a Bachelor of Music Education at the Crane School of Music in 2008. Aaron has performed with the Crane Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of Northern New York, the Northern Symphonic Winds, and The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. This year, Aaron won 1st Place in the Historical Division of the National Trumpet Competition and was also a semifinalist in NTC's Graduate Division. Aaron's principal teachers include Christopher Moore, Bryan Goff, John Ellis, and Alex Jokopi.
