Keith Gates: Music

David Scott has performed as a recitalist/clinician throughout the United States with orchestras such as the Louisville Orchestra, Palm Beach Opera, Spokane Symphony, Lake Charles Symphony, and the Midland-Odessa Symphony Orchestra, and as an artist at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival. Scott teaches trumpet at McNeese State University and has held the Alexander Endowed Professorship in Music. His teachers include Leon Rapier, Raymond Crisara, Robert Grocock and Roger Voisin and he is a graduate of the University of Louisville and DePauw University. Scott has served on the faculties of the University of Idaho, Kentucky State University and is a Voting Member of NARAS (Grammy Awards), a Yamaha Performing Artist, a Louisiana Touring and Roster Artist.
