Keith Gates: Music

Laura Toland is a graduate of the Crane School of Music and also holds a Master of Sacred Music Degree from Georgia State University. She is the organist and Director of Music at the Potsdam First Presbyterian Church, where she directs the Westminster choir and the handbell choir. She is the accompanist of the Potsdam Community Chorus and the Children's Chorus of Crane. She is actively training a new generation of church organists. Laura and her husband Ray Toland, played a pivotal role in the restoration of the Hosmer Organ at Crane. Laura is the Dean of the St. Lawrence River chapter of the American Guild of Organists and is an adjunct instructor of organ at Crane.
